Week 4 - Camino de Santiago

My toe drained so much that the thread was crusted to skin and would not pull out. Problem solving at 4:30 am using the light of my headlamp while trying not to make any noise … interesting. After soaking it, I was finally able to pull out the threads. But it looked pretty infected so I could not put Compeed over an infection … but I have no bandaids. Solution, alcohol wipe over blistered skin then Compeed over that, make shift bandaid until I can get to a pharmacy in Astorga. This could be a problem. Pilgrims have had to abandon their pilgrimage for feet issues, especially infected blisters.
